Radiography (X-rays)

Radiography is the workhorse of musculoskeletal imaging. X-rays have been used to image the human body since the 1900’s and is still used today. Radiographs may be used to diagnose fractures, dislocations, infections, metabolic disorders, bone tumors, and arthritis. In addition to diagnosis, they may be used to monitor these various conditions after medical or surgical treatments.
