Altman Translational Research Building (ACTRI)

Alumni and Faculty gathered for the first annual Elliott Lasser Society Alumni Day and the 2nd Annual Radiology Research Lightning Symposium, where our researchers gave two minute lightning presentations of their current work, future plans, or calls for new collaborations.

UCSD Alumni caught up on old times, took a walk down memory lane, and toured our newest building, Jacobs Medical Center. Former Chairs Dr. Elliott Lasser, Dr. George Leopold and Dr. Bill Bradley were in attendance for the morning session. All enjoyed sushi poolside at the evening reception at Hyatt Regency La Jolla Aventine.

Alumni Happy Hour

The Lasser Alumni Association and friends enjoyed tacos, lemonade, sunset, and conviviality around graveled gas firepits on the patio at the Coronado Yacht club. This second gathering of radiology alumni and friends provided a picturesque venue for fine-tuning the mission and initial goals of the association.

The event coincided with the first day of the 41st Annual UCSD Post Graduate Course held at the historic Hotel Del Coronado.
