Our Mission
At the Center for Translational Imaging at UC San Diego, our mission is to bring the latest and greatest imaging to patients and provide a translational platform to help researchers develop cutting edge science for our patients. Besides offering standard imaging services for our patients, we also work with researchers and clinicians to help innovate and implement their studies. By supporting this relationship between the patient and researcher, CTI helps physicians and scientists gain access to the most advanced imaging tools available for current and future patient care.

For Patients
Magnetic resonance imaging, also known as an MRI, is a radiation-free imaging procedure used to help your physician diagnose a wide variety of conditions. At our center, you can receive the standard of care imaging that your physician has requested. You may also be visiting our site as part of a research study to help our scientists better understand disease and innovate for the future.
For Researchers
At CTI, we can help you implement your research study, whether it is for studying a disease process or developing a new technology.
For Physicians
We offer standard of care imaging services for your patients as well as translational research studies.
