Dr. Sebastian Obrzut obtained his B. S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his M. D. degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and his residency at UCLA Medical Center. Since arriving at UCSD in 2004, Dr. Obrzut has been providing care to patients in the Nuclear Medicine Division, teaching residents and pursuing his research interests in molecular imaging with Positron Emission Tomography (PET). Dr. Obrzut’s most recent research interests have focused on the application of Systems Biology computational methods to quantitative metabolic imaging techniques
