Experience:
Dr. Brown specializes in abdominopelvic imaging, including the modalities of ultrasound, CT, and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, with an emphasis on MR imaging of the female pelvis. She is chief of pelvic MR imaging at UCSD Medical Center, and she performs clinical imaging interpretation at the UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest and Thornton Hospital in La Jolla. She has published over 28 articles, several book chapters, and a book, “Primer on MRI of the Abdomen and Pelvis.” She is a very active member and lecturer in several professional organizations including American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society and Radiological Society of North America.
