Dr. Linda K. Olson served as the Acting Chief of the Diagnostic Radiology Division at UCSD from 1993 to 1998. She is actively involved in the teaching programs for the School of Medicine, the Radiology Residency Program, and is Director of the UCSD Mammography Practicum, which provides training for mammography technologists.

In 1991 Dr. Olson received the Marie Curie Award from the American Association of Women Radiologists. In 1993 she became a Fellow in the American College of Radiology and in 1994 she became an Honored Alumnus, Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, California.
