Dr. Miller received his radiology training at Johns Hopkins University including a fellowship with Dr. Robert I. White in angiography and interventional Radiology. He has been at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center for the past 22 years where he is Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is also Director of the HHT Center since 1996.

Dr. Miller holds a hemangioma clinic for the treatment of vascular malformations which often cannot be treated surgically. He is actively involved in teaching other physicians locally as well as nationally on vascular topics including HHT. He has written over 75 papers including textbook chapters on interventional topics. He has been associate editor of several medical journals and is a reviewer for three journals currently.

He has research interests in treating blood vessels with radiation to give improved results after the use of balloon angioplasty and stents. He also is currently investigating methods to best treat liver AVM's in HHT patients.
