Experience:
Dr Goodman’s research interests are in cardiovascular and pulmonary imaging. He is a member of the UCSD Cancer Center. He is the site prinicpal investigator for the National Lung Screening Trial (NLST) sponsored by NCI evaluating low dose CT screeing for lung cancer.
Dr. Goodman has given numerous invited lectures on cardiac CT and MR. He is a reviewer for the American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR). He is an active member of several professional societies, including the American College of Radiology, Society of Cardiovascular Computer Tomography, North American Society of Cardiovascular Imaging, Radiological Society of North America and American Roentgen Ray Society.He is the current president of the San Diego Radiological Society.
